2026 is an exciting year for us. This year we celebrate our 85th Anniversary. Those 85 years have seen many changes and we hope this year will see us continue to grow and move forward.

As part of the celebrations we will be holding our 85th Annual Concert in Tabernacle on Saturday 4th July where our guests will be Sarah Meek and the Dave Cottle Trio who will be paying tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Also appearing the relatively new Clydach Male Voice Choir who we hope to join in more ventures in the future. This should be a brilliant night and we hope you'll join us.

As well as it being the choir's anniversary it is also the Golden Anniversary of our MD Anthony Williams. Anthony has spent 50 years in charge of a group of Ladies, no mean feat and a massive achievement in itself, which shows the dedication he has given to the choir over the years and without whom we wouldn't be here today.

We have many exciting things both socially and performance wise in the pipeline this year and look forward to the year ahead.

                                              ...............................................

On a bit of a downside we have had to leave our rehearsal room in Tabernacle Vestry due to on-going renovation works. We are in the process of securing a new rehearsal venue and we will let you know when confirmed.

                                              ...............................................

A few weeks ago we asked our choristers to put on post it notes what singing in MLC meant to them. It turns out it is not just about making music, but the mental and physical benefits as well.

These are just some of the reasons we come to MLC. If you love to sing and would like all the benefits singing in a choir provides then come and join us, we have ladies from 16-90 and we would welcome you all with open arms where you would be part of our choir family.
